Olympics Withdrawl

As I watched the Olympics come to a close I realized just how much I would miss them. No more swimming, track or women’s sand volleyball. Lucky for me a design blog featured a post that shows the logo and branding for every Summer Olympics from 1896 to 2012. Needless to say my inner design nerd was quite pleased. My personal favorites are: 1912 Stockholm, 1936 Berlin, 1956 Melbourne, 1960 Rome & 1972 Munich.

    I’m just happy that they are over. Now everyone can get past Olympic Sleep Deprivation known as OSD. Trying to keep the eyes open until midnight each day to see some high board diver splash in the water, or skimpy beach volleyball… was killing my cicadian rhythms.
